key goals:

the family

It is not hard looking for avenues to design for social change. I narrowed my search by focusing on a developing country that I am most familiar with, the Philippines. From there, I quickly recognized social habits that amount to great ruin of nature and therefore of everyone, the use of single-used plastics. This is a family of recycled paper pulp packaging used to contain wax paper sachets with dissolvable powder hygiene products.

the 5-in-1 kit

Either a Personal Hygiene Refill kit ( 2 shampoo, 2 body soap, hand soap) or a Home Essentials Refill Kit ( 2 dish soap, general cleaner, glass cleaner, bathroom cleaner), 5-in-1 kits are cost-efficient and environmental.

the bottles

While it is encouraged that people reuse bottles they already own, Dew reusable bottles are especially measured and curated for Dew dissolvable solution in Dew biodegradable sachets.

A drop of dew signifies a new beginning.

the detergent bulk

Detergent bulks were designed with small corner stores in mind. These stores are a livelihood of millions of families and their communities. It is important that wax paper sachets are effectively contained to avoid extra moisture. They each contain 35 refill sachets.

the bulk

Through research I discovered that hygiene products in small packages usually made of plastic is the most popular method of access for people in developing countries. Some leading brands promise 100% environmentally-concerned change by 2050. This is a conceptual alternative brand which takes on the challenge way before it's too late.

the process

The goal was to make a design language that is easy to the eyes and can be set apart from existing packeging.

the brand

A desirable product line that is sustainable would attract new customers offering them a benefiacial alternative lifestyle.
