the brand
"Suman" is a Filipino delicacy. They are rice cakes commonly wrapped in banana, coconut, palm leaves. There are many cool forms and versions from different villages. This is a series of bags inspired by them.
the process
I got the idea of designing a travel bag line from a class that focused on existing brands and possible subsidiaries. My group studied Airbnb from which I highlighted problems of travelers in the airport. This is where my measurements originated from.
the experience
The result is a series of travel bags with calculated collective size for organization. They can all fit in the mainbag.
